Vita-Flex Massage Technique
What is Vita-Flex?
Vita-Flex is a safe, non-invasive, pressure-point reflexive massage technique. It uses rolling and releasing motions to activate reflex points on the feet, hands, and various areas throughout the entire body. It is particularity effective in delivering the benefits of essential oils throughout the body.
Derived from the words, "vitality" and "reflex," it means "vitality through the reflexes." The principal behind Vita-Flex is to allow the body to balance itself by redirecting its vital energy. It is based on a complete system of the internal workings of the body and the electrical circuitry inherent to the body.
It is a tremendous tool that assists the body in healing itself, and is particularity effective in delivering the benefits of essential oils throughout the body.
Where Did Vita-Flex Come From?
Vita-Flex is said to have originated in Tibet over five thousand years ago, long before acupuncture was developed. It was perfected in modern times by Stanley Burroughs, and is now primarily taught by Tom Woloshyn.
How Does it Work?
Vita-Flex can be practiced with or without essential oils. Normally, essential oils are used because they increase it's effectiveness.
Vita-Flex is based on a complete network of reflex points that stimulate all the internal body systems. Oils are applied to specific contact points, and energy is released through electrical impulses created by contact between the fingertips and the reflex points.
This electrical charge follows the nerve pathways to a break in the electrical circuit caused by toxins, damaged tissues, or loss of oxygen, allowing the energy to flow once more.
There are more than 1,400 Vita-Flex points throughout the human body, encompassing the entire realm of body and mind, that are capable of releasing many kinds of tension, congestion, and imbalances. Vita-Flex taps into and supports the body's self-regulating system to allow rapid healing.
Vita-flex treatment is said to benefit many different health issues and conditions by using the body's own "self-regulating or balancing process." (Woloshyn, 2007)
How Is Vita-Flex Different From Reflexology?
While similar to reflexology, according to Tom Woloshyn, Vita-Flex is "a more extensive and comprehensive therapy because it is applied throughout many more areas of the body." (Woloshyn, 2007) Whereas reflexology is only done on the feet, the vita-flex massage technique can be applied almost anywhere.
In addition, reflexology uses steady and constant stimulation for a period of time. Vita Flex uses a rolling and releasing motion that involves placing all four fingers flat on the skin, rolling onto the fingertips, and continuing over onto the fingernail.
Vita-Flex Benefits:
By using the body's own "self-regulating or balancing process" to support its own healing, the Vita-flex massage technique may help a variety of different wellness related issues and conditions. (Woloshyn, 2007)
Many people use Vita-flex to promote relaxation, balance hormones, help during cleansing, ease pain and promote health and healing of every body system.
One of the greatest benefits of vita-flex is that it is non-invasive. Points massaged on the feet may affect the head, the back, digestive system or any other system.
How to Apply the Vita-Flex Technique:
Use medium pressure – never press too hard. Place all four fingers flat on the skin (be sure to have nails cut short), roll from the pads onto the fingertips, and continue over onto the fingernail. It's a little bit like rotating your hand as if you are turning a doorknob.
Lift fingers and move up about half the width of the finger and repeat until the Vita Flex point, or area, is covered. Repeat this movement over the area three times.
Before begining each point, apply 1-2 drops of essential oil to those areas of the feet that correspont do the system of the body you wish to support (see Vita Flex charts below) The Vita Flex (VF) numbers correspond to locations on the feet and are noted on the foot chart. Combining essential oils with Vita-Flex increases the effect of both.
Rapid and extraordinary results can be experienced when combining essential oils with Vita Flex stimulation, as it increases the effect of both.

I would like to know what kind of essential oils I would need to use to improve eyes on a 8 year old child that just got diagnosed with being legally blind in one eye. What can I do to help her further. They are dilating her good eye in hopes to make her bad eye good again. Thanks for any kind of help.

Kimberly,
First, I want you to know I'm not a doctor and can't prescribe or diagnose, I can only tell you what others have used and make general suggestions. Also, you didn't mention the cause of daughter's blindness, so it's hard to know where to begin.
Essential oils are generally not used directly on the eyes as they are too strong, but they can be used around my eyes (rubbed on cheek and brow in a large circle around the eyes) and on the vita flex eye points. One woman once told me that she used a minuscule amount of Helichrysum and Frankincense on her closed eyelids (just the tiniest speck from what was on her finger from touching the edge of the bottle – not even close to a drop) and her eyes improved dramatically. I'm not suggesting you do this, just letting you know an adult did it.
There are several oils that people have had good results from using, as well as Ninxia Red juice.
Ida's night vision got better after using MSN and Lavender oil:
Many people love Frankincense and/or lavender around the eyes. Janet loves Wolfberry Eye cream:
But by far, the one product that gets the most comments and testimonials about improving the eyes is Ningxia Red juice. Here are a few of them:
Hope this helps.
