Ledum (Ledum groenlandicum) has a long history of use. As a tea, ledum provides well-being. It is also believed to harmonize and balance the body’s daily needs.

Uses for ledum: Historically, ledum oil has been used for the liver and kidneys. It has been used as a kidney tonic and for liver cleansing when there is congestion, various liver dysfunctions, hepatitis and cirrhosis (fatty liver). Some people have used it to combat obesity and assist weight management and find it helpful with edema and water retention. It has also been used for stomach discomfort, congested prostate, laryngitis, bronchitis, allergies, thyroid regulation and to soothe colds and flu.

  1. can this be use to cleanse liver and kidney. Or its just for simple diseases only. Because this medicine is not familiar here in our country, it can be a possible business in the future.

    Ledum essential oil can be used during a liver or kidney cleanse. It is not a medicine, and sorry, I don’t know what country you are from.
