GMO Foods Alter Organ Function, In Spite of Monsanto's Claims
How would you feel if your guts became a pesticide factory producing poisons uncontrollably?
That's a very real possibility, if not already a reality, for those that eat genetically modified corn (which is most of the non-organic corn in this country), and many other genetically engineered foods.
Mike Adams reports on a recent study from Sept 20, 2011, Cell Research and other publications, that shows the mechanism by which GMOs (genetically modified or genetically engineered) foods alter your organ function. In the past, Monsanto has said that genetically modified foods are presumed to be safe and no safety studies are needed. This study provides biological and genetic truth that GM foods alter the body in frightening ways.
The studies show that miRNA (micro RNA – genetic information in the DNA) has now been found to pass from the GM foods (through digestion), into the blood. Once in the blood, the miRNA attaches onto the organs where it modifies the function and expression of those organs. This can potentially cause cancer and other diseases in the body.
GM foods also interfere with the signals between cells. They alter the signals cells are receiving.
The more genetically modified food you eat, the more our body takes on the functions of the genetically modified food you eat, and the less human you become. For example, in the case of BT corn (modified to produce insecticide), the function of producing insecticide can transfer into the flora of your intestines. The BT bacteria can actually begin producing insecticide in your own gut. That would cause you to start producing poison and suffering the symptoms of having insecticide poison in your body… while you inadvertently become a pesticide factory!
It is now scientifically proven that GM foods can turn humans into pesticide and toxin-creating factories. If health is your goal, doesn't it make sense to stay away from GMO frankenfoods?
