Brain Power essential oil Boost Your Brain’s Power!

Brain Power™ gives your brain a boost with essential oils that are high in sesquiterpenes. Use it to clarify thought and develop greater focus.

Sesquiterpenes increase oxygen around receptor sites around the pineal, pituitary and hypothalamus glands.  Research indicates that sesquiterpenes play major role in dissolving petrochemicals known to plug the receptor sites and prevent receptivity of human growth hormone (hGH).

  • Sandalwood (Santalum album) –  High in sesquiterpenes, researched for their ability to stimulate that pineal gland and the limbic region of the brain, the center of emotions.  Sandalwood essential oil has been traditionally used for skin revitalization, yoga and meditation because of its high levels of sesquiterpenes.  Sesquiterpenes have been researched for their ability to stimulate the pineal gland and the limbic region of the brain, the center of emotions.
  • Cedarwood (Cedrus atlantica) – Very high in sesquiterpenes, cedarwood essential oil has calming and purigyig properties.  This conifer oil has been used by North American Indians to enhance spiritual awareness and communication.  It also may help stimulate the pineal gland, which releases melatonin, hormone that enhances deep sleep.
  • Melissa (Melissa officinalis) – This essential oil is one of the highest oils in sesquiterpenes, much like cedarwood.  It is very stimulating to the anterior pituitary and immune system.  Melissa is an essential oil that is both powerful and antimicrobial, yet very gentle and delicate because of the nature of the plant.  It is calming and balancing to the emotions.
  • Frankincense (Boswellia carteri) – Frankincense essential oil was valued more than gold during ancient times. Only whose with great wealth and abundance possessed it.  In the Middle East it is considered a holy anointing oil and has been used in religious ceremonies for thousands of years.
  • Blue cypress (Callitris intratropica) – This essential oil improves circulation and increases the flow of oxygen to the brain, stimulating the amygdala, pineal gland, pituitary gland and hypothalamus.
  • Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) – Lavender is a favorite essential oil due to its versatility and calming and relaxing properties that can improve concentration and mental acuity.
  • Helichrysum (Helichrysum italicum) – A highly valued oil, helichrysum helps improve circulation and stimulate optimum nerve function, which can lead to enhanced awareness and cognition.  It is also known to help release feelings of anger, which can allow the mind to gain focus and concentration.

Brain Power Essential Oil Blend — 4 Comments

  1. good day. I’m interested in your product brain power oil, actually I’m taking a board exam for civil engineer this coming Nov. i hope that it can help me with that brain power oil, of yours thanks you and good day.. god bless.

  2. That’s what Brain Power was created for…

According to the Essential Oil Desk Reference:

The oils in the Brain Power blend contain high sesquiterpene compounds that have been shown to increase oxygen around receptor sites around the pineal, pituitary, and hypothalamus. They are responsible for the secretions of human growth hormone (hGH).

Research indicates that they play a major role in dissolving petrochemicals known to plug the receptor sites and prevent receptivity.

Brain Power may help clear the brain fog that people experience due to the ingestion of chemical foods, skin and hair care products with petrochemicals, and breathing heavy chemical-laden air.

Brain power may increase mental potential, mental clarity, and long-term use may retard the aging process. It may also support and strengthen immune function.

You can diffuse it in the air around you with a diffuser, inhale straight from the bottle a few times a day (and definitely before studying and taking tests), and apply on forehead, neck, throat, behind ear and base of skull and even under the nose.

Peppermint has also been studied and shown to improve concentration and mental accuracy by Dr. Dember of the University of Cincinnati. Students usually place several drops on or under the tongue to improve concentration, alertness and memory, as well as inhale it while studying.

Here’s a couple of interesting accounts:

My daughter Casey, now in college, has some learning challenges and yet has done so well with Brain Power essential oil blend. She readily tells everyone, ‘I can pass comprehensive finals now!’ She uses a terra cotta pendant to put the oil on and smells it while she is studying and then again while taking the test. For me and for my other children who don’t have learning challenges like my daughter Casey, this works well too. My oldest son Carson, now in the Army, used peppermint to study for his Promotion Board since he didn’t have Brain power. He used it to study with and then wore the pendant under his uniform. He also put a drop of oil just under his nose before he went before the promotion board. He said it burned like heck but he could recall everything he needed to and passed the board with flying colors!

In 1999 I decided to take a 3 year course in Acupuncture. I had not studied full time for over 30 years and my first semester was a huge shock! My first semester classes were Anatomy and Pysiology I and II, Chinese Philosophy, Chemistry and Acupressure Massage! I was swamped but the chemistry was the subject that was the worst. I was seriously afraid I would fail the class.

One day I was doing some chemistry problems and I wasn’t making any progress. A friend said why don’t you try this and handed me a bottle of Brain Power. I looked at the label and said I’m sure I could definitely use some Brain Power but what is this and how do I use it? He said it’s a blend of essential oils. You just inhale deeply first in one nostril, then the other nostril and then in both together. Imagine when you breathe in that you’re drawing it across your brain. So I did that and then I went back to the chemistry problem I was working on and as soon as I looked at it, I got it! Not only that I realized that it was really quite simple.

I got some Brain Power and then I heard about a study in which Peppermint was diffused in a classroom of students and they did 28% better on their exams than the class who didn’t get the Peppermint. So i bought a bottle of Peppermint too. These two oils became my constant study companions during the rest of the semester, in class and at home.

My results at the end of the term where that I got 90% in Chemistry and was second in my class! I was so impressed with the results these essential oils gave me that I changed my course to Aromatherapy!

Hope that helps and good luck on your exams!

  3. My 13 year old son has autism and a friend of ours recommended that we try brain power oil. Could you tell me the benefits of using Brain Power Oil for people with autism?

  4. Carolyn,

Research has shown that the effect of aromatic compounds on the sense of smell can exert strong effects on the brain – especially on the hypothalamus (the hormone command center of the body) and limbic system.

Essential oils high in sesquiterpenes, such as myrrh and frankincense, can dramatically increase oxygen levels, oxygenation and activity in the brain. According to Dr. Asawa of Japan and Dr. Richardson of England, the inhalation of essential oils increases brain activity by increasing blood flow by 15 percent and oxygen by 25 percent. You can see how this could directly improve the functioning of many systems of the body.

The ability of essential oils to pass the blood-brain barrier gives them enormous therapeutic potential against many neurological disorders and issues that require brain regulation (essential oils high in sesquiterpenes, such as frankincense, cypress, myrrh, and sandalwood, have been documented to cross the blood-brain barrier).

Brain Power contains frankincense, cedarwood and other oils that are high in sesquiterpenes. All the oils in the Brain Power blend contain high sesquiterpene compounds that have been shown to increase oxygen around receptor sites around the pineal, pituitary and hypothalamus. They are responsible for the secretion of human growth hormone (hGH).

Research indicates that they play a major role in dissolving petrochemicals and toxins known to plug the receptor sites and prevent receptivity. It may also increase mental potential and mental clarity as well as support and strengthen immune function.

Please understand that this takes time. Your son would have to regularly inhale Brain Power over a period of months to see results. Diffusing essential oils is a great way to inhale them, but even opening the bottle and taking a long, relaxed breath of it 5 or 6 times during the day (or every hour) could do a lot.
