What Are Essential Oils?

Essential oils are pure, potent plant remedies. That is, only if they are of the highest quality.  The cheap $7 to $14 dollar varieties labeled essential oils found in drugstores and most health food stores are actually little bottles filled with chemical thinners, solvents and synthetic fragrances meant to fool you into thinking they are real plant essences.

Don't be fooled.  Only a few companies make true essential oils by distilling plant essences over long periods of time, coaxing the deepest compounds out of them.  Even fewer companies bother to harvest at the perfect moment for just the right amount of time at low heat.

The truth is, most companies harvest when convenient and transport their plant material miles and miles, drying out the essenses, before subjecting them to high heat for as short a time as possible.

Worse yet is adding chemical thinners, solvents and synthetic fragrances to make up for poor quality essential oil the dried out, immaturely harvested plants produced.

What Does Pure Essential Oil Mean?

True essential oils are pure – no thinners, solvents or frangrances are ever added.  They are carefully cultivated, properly harvested and steam distilled immediately after harvest, when the oils are at their peak.

What Can Essential Oils Do For You?

The experience of a pure, therapeutic-grade essential oil is nothing short of intoxicating.  You can feel their life-enhancing properties.

Essential oils have been revered for centuries for their restorative properties to the body, mind and spirit. With all the challenges we face living our fast-paced, stress-laden lifestyles, pure essential oils are re-emerging as a key solution.

Pure essential oils deliver positive benefits to the body when smelled, as in aromatherapy; when applied to the body, as in massage; and when taken internally, as in a nutritional supplement.
