There are many places to apply essential oils on your pets. To ward away fleas and ticks, some people like to put a few drops of essential oil on their dog's collar. Some people dilute the essential oil with vegetable oil and rub it on their hands and then onto their pet's fur. You can also put a diluted drop or two around the rim of each ear. Experiment and see which method your pet prefers and/or which method works best for your dog.

It's best not to put essential oil directly on cat's fur, since cats are so sensitive, but it's fine on dogs.

Another great way is to use the Animal Scents Shampoo - its a wonderful essential oil flea shampoo for natural tick and flea control, without any toxic ingredients.

And if you missed the two excellent posts about using essential oil on your pets, see them here:

Mary could you tell me how do you apply the oils on pets like my dog, espicially for fleas ticks and mosquitoes? He had a bad reaction to the stuff the vet gave me.
Thank you
