		<description>Pat,

There&#039;s no way I can know if Palo Santo can help any specific person. Palo Santo has been used for centuries in South America for to help with healing wounds, sprains and other injuries. The sesquiterpenes and monoterpenes and other constituents in it tend to stimulate healing and balance in the body.

I love the oil myself. It really helps the herniated disks in back feel better and it smells wonderful!

The only way to know is to try it and see.

		<description>Anna,

Palo Santo is an essential oil &lt;I&gt;single&lt;/I&gt;, meaning it is not blended with any other oil. The bottle only contains oil that comes from the wood of the aromatic Palo Santo tree in South America. It&#039;s botanical name is bursera graveolens and it is closely related to frankincense.

Palo Santo oil contains high levels of limonene, a monoterpene compound that has been found to have chemo-preventive and chemo-therapeutic effects against several types of cancer. It is also rich in sesquiterpenes, monoterpenes and alpha-pinene.

This is probably why it has been used in South America for so long as an antiseptic, to help with healing wounds, sprains and other injuries, clear negative energy and bring good fortune.
